Metz Industrial Group of BRC Renews 123,766 SF of Leases at 1580 Lower Road in Linden, NJ

The Metz Industrial Group (MIG) of Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC) announced the completion of two industrial lease renewals totaling 123,766 square feet at 1580 Lower Road in Linden, New Jersey, a 124,618-square-foot Class A industrial property developed in 2019. The transactions maintain the property at 100 percent occupancy on behalf of ownership, Linden Warehouse & Distribution.

MIG represented Linden Warehouse & Distribution in the renewals of Astra Products, which committed to 80,000 square feet, and Bentex Group Inc., which renewed 43,766 square feet at the property. The team is led by Jordan Metz, Principal, along with Benito Abbate, Senior Associate, and James Friel, Sales Associate. MIG has represented Astra Products for nearly 20 years, dating back to Metz’s negotiation of the company’s original 8,000-square-foot lease in Linden in 2007, while also maintaining a long-standing relationship with Linden Warehouse & Distribution.

MIG was originally engaged by Linden Warehouse & Distribution to market the property while it was under development in 2019 and successfully pre-leased both spaces to Astra Products and Bentex Group Inc. The team also renewed the adjacent 1.5-acre industrial outdoor storage (IOS) lease at 1600 Lower Road, also owned by Linden Warehouse & Distribution.
